How Atlanta Connects Businesses to Nationwide Freight Transportation
Atlanta's position at the crossroads of the Southeast makes it a natural origin for freight moving throughout the region and across the country.

Atlanta sits at the junction of three interstates, I-75, I-85, and I-20, with I-285 tying them together. From metro Atlanta, a box truck can reach most of Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and the Carolinas within a day's drive, and Florida shortly after. That geography is why so much Southeastern distribution runs through the city.
What that means for shippers
For a business shipping out of Atlanta, the Southeast is regional freight, not long-haul. Final-mile and dedicated deliveries to Macon, Savannah, Birmingham, Chattanooga, Greenville, Charlotte, or Jacksonville are routine. South Georgia and rural areas that larger networks serve slowly are reachable on a direct run.
Beyond the Southeast
For destinations further out, an Atlanta-based carrier can move freight on its own equipment when the shipment justifies a dedicated run, or coordinate with trusted partner carriers for the linehaul while keeping the pickup, the communication, and often the final-mile delivery under one point of contact. United Federal Freight LLC works both ways across the contiguous United States.
Inbound too
The same geography works in reverse. Freight arriving in Atlanta from anywhere in the country can be picked up at a terminal or distribution center and delivered final mile throughout Georgia, including to homes, storefronts, and jobsites without a dock.
